Acorn Print Finishers - Yorkshire

Acorn Print Finishers of Normanton - Yorkshire, have had a twin compactor trim extract system installed.

The two stiching lines produce vast quantities of trim waste. It was decided to install two compctors. When one bin becomes full, a signal is sent from the compctor to the electro-pneumatic two way valve. The valve changes over to divert the waste trim into the empty bin.

The extracted air and the fine dust are collected in a continuously rated filter.

The over produced magazines and any other larger waste items are placed onto a conveyor which feeds directly into one of the compactors. The compactors and the conveyor was manufactured by Nicholls Engineering Services Limited.
