BGP Goodhead Bicester

We installed the waste trim pneumatic conveying system at BGP (Goodhead Print), at Bicester.

The plant included two 90 kW extract fans. The waste trim is discharged into either of two compactors. The bin full device on the compactors allows for the automatic change over from the full bin to the empty bin.

The high level overhead ductwork carries the waste paper 100 metres to the compactors.

The fine dust produced on the bindery machines is collected in the Pulse Jet Cartridge Filter. A failsafe control panel ensures that in the event of a problem the system automatically closes down.

Inside the factory are two duplicate lines of high throughput machinery, these include two Corona Binders, two Zenith Trimmers, a Polar Guillotine, plus a margin for two Stitchers.
